I designed and built this dynamic and responsive ExpressionEngine® CMS website for a digital printing company in 2012. The company was recently acquired and needed a new look for their new name and branding.
The home page features a large-format slideshow that is touch-screen enabled and three projects from the portfolio.
The about us section dynamically shows related quotes in the sidebar and the services section dynamically shows related projects from the portfolio.
The filterable portfolio uses uses a tagging module to organize projects by features. Portfolio detail pages offer lightbox pop-up slideshows of large-format images while a 3rd party plug-in automatically re-sizes and optimizes images to fit the page and load quickly.
The News section has categories for blog updates; press releases or educational posts and the blog posts will create a slider on the page if there is more than one image associated with a post.
The holding company responsible for turning Nu Graphics into Kirkwood Digital hired Bree to create a redesigned, image-and-services focused website for the new entity. As a lead IT person with Kirkwood Digital, I worked with her in that effort and can recommend Bree as highly competent and highly responsive. Her technical knowledge and communication skills are very good and she is readily available to work with clients one-to-one. Bree gives more than enough of her time and has a collaborative outlook, appreciating business goals while providing an up to date web presence for her clients.
